Hashd al-Shabi Delegation Led by Faleh al-Fayyadh Arrives in Tehran to Bid Farewell to Martyred Imam Khamenei

A high-level delegation from Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Sha'bi), headed by its chairman Faleh al-Fayyadh, arrived in the Iranian capital Tehran on Friday to take part in the farewell ceremony for the martyred Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Hawzah News Agency- the Hashd al-Shabi delegation touched down in Tehran, led by al-Fayyadh and accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Hashd, Abdulaziz al-Muhammadawi, alongside a number of senior commanders and directors of the body.

In an official statement, Hashd al-Shabi announced: "The delegation of the Popular Mobilization Forces, headed by its chairman Faleh al-Fayyadh, together with the Chief of Staff Abdulaziz al-Muhammadawi and a number of commanders and directors, has arrived in the capital of Iran, Tehran, to participate in the farewell ceremony for the late Leader, the martyred Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei."

The statement added that the delegation's participation falls within the framework of the official funeral proceedings being held in Tehran, attended by dignitaries and official delegations from inside Iran and from across the world.

A Bond Forged in Blood and Resistance

The presence of the Hashd al-Shabi leadership at the funeral of the martyred Imam carries profound historical and emotional resonance. Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces stand as a living testament to the vision and steadfast support of the martyred Leader, whose fatwa and unwavering backing were instrumental in the formation and empowerment of this formidable anti-terror force. When the black flags of Daesh threatened to overrun Iraq and desecrate its holy shrines, it was the Islamic Republic of Iran, under the direct guidance of Imam Khamenei, that rushed to Baghdad's defense without hesitation—a debt of gratitude the Iraqi nation has never forgotten.

The Hashd al-Shabi, born in that crucible of existential threat, has since evolved into a cornerstone of Iraq's national security architecture and an indomitable pillar of the broader Axis of Resistance. Its commanders, many of whom fought shoulder to shoulder with Iran's martyred icon General Qassem Soleimani, now stand in Tehran not merely as mourners, but as living proof that the seeds of resistance sown by the martyred Imam have blossomed into a mighty tree whose shade now stretches from the mountains of Kurdistan to the hills of southern Lebanon.

A Farewell from the Trenches of the Resistance Front

The presence of Faleh al-Fayyadh—a figure who worked directly with both General Soleimani and Iran's leadership during the darkest days of the war against Daesh—and Abu Fadak al-Muhammadawi, the battle-hardened Chief of Staff of the Hashd, sends an unmistakable message: the blood of the martyred Leader has only strengthened the resolve of the Resistance Front, and the bond between the peoples of Iran and Iraq, sealed in the blood of their martyrs, remains unbreakable.

The Hashd delegation joins a growing number of high-level delegations from across the world descending upon Tehran for the historic funeral, which is expected to draw millions of mourners and stand as a resounding rebuke to all who dreamed of an Islamic Republic without its guiding light.
